Rotary Club of DeLand Celebrates 90th Anniversary

The Rotary Club of DeLand was admitted to Rotary International December 28, 1926 with installation ceremonies taking place January 3, 1927. To celebrate our Club's 90th anniversary, a special tribute was held at our March 9th meeting. Several members made presentations highlighting Past Presidents. Al Wehrle gave a brief history of the founding of our Club by Stetson University's President Dr. Lincoln Hulley who served as our President 1927-28. Larry Drumb spoke about his grandfather, Edward Drumb (President 1948-49), Cindy Fox about her father G. Robert Fox (President 1974-75), and Mayor Bob Apgar about his father Harry Apgar (President 1965-66).
