The Rotary Club of DeLand honored the sixty-one winners of its 2022 Rotary Achiever Awards at the May 19th luncheon at Wayne G. Sanborn Activity Center. Rotary Achiever Project Chair Bill Anderson praised the winners for their significant accomplishments as well as their leadership potential.
Rotary Achiever Awards are given annually to West Volusia elementary school students in the fourth and fifth grades who have exhibited the greatest increase in academic achievement during the school year, based on standardized reading tests. The main goal of the Rotary Achiever Program is to instill the concept of rewards received for effort expended.

Rotary will be a vendor. We need 3 volunteers to man the tent and assist with games/activities.
Juneteenth Unity in the Community Celebration - Family festival featuring, Black History Reflection, Local legend talent, Food vendors, Children's Center, Entertainment and the Sankofa African American Museum on Wheels which includes more than 500 artifacts that document African American life dating back to the 1800's.
