Another successful service project for the Rotary Club of Deland! Saturday, February 17, 2018, about twenty Rotarians and Interact students descended upon the Drop-off Circle at DeLand High School. Armed with shovels, rakes, axes, a chain saw and a pressure washer, they weeded, planted fifty Coontie palms, trimmed Ligustrum trees, pressure washed the Rotary Four-Way Test Marker as well as the Memorial markers, spread one-hundred bags of eucalyptus mulch, and pressure washed as well as straightened the DeLand High School Home of the Bulldogs Sign. “Service Above Self.”
