The Rotary Club of DeLand will hold its 28th Annual Charity Golf Classic at LPGA International, Daytona Beach, on Saturday April 8, 2023. Shotgun Start at 8:30 am. Four Person Team Scramble sign-in is at 7:00 am. First, Second and Third Place trophies will be awarded; prizes on every hole. Golf pro available on the longest drive Par 5.
Proceeds from this event will benefit International Charities as well as local organizations and programs such as PAL, The Neighborhood Center, Boys & Girls Clubs of Volusia/Flagler Counties, YMCA, etc.
The $150 Entry Fee includes golf fees, carts, continental breakfast, and lunch. The tournament will be held on April 8, 2023 at LPGA Golf Club. Tee time is 8:30 am but come early to get registered, pick up goodie bags and see the spectacular raffle items. The Rotary Club of Debary, Deltona, & Orange City presents the 7th Annual Pat and Ed Northey 5k/ 10k River Run . The River Run is down and back on the Spring to Spring Trail in beautiful Gemini Springs Park located in Debary, FL. The course is flat and travels through a shaded canopy of Old Florida Oaks adorned with resurrection ferns, vines, and Spanish Moss. When complete, the Spring- to- Spring Trail will stretch 26 miles from Gemini Springs Park to Deleon Springs State Park. It is being designed to accommodate walkers, joggers, in-line skaters, bicycles, and those with disabilities. Volunteers needed to serve beer at Rotary tent at the Deltona Bacon & Brew Fest festival. This festival will be partnering with Backpack Buddies and the assistance of dozens of volunteers from the community. With the help of our beer sponsor, Daytona Beverages we will be raising money to help support Backpack Buddies to alleviate hunger in Volusia County.
